Was There Some Sort Of Debate Last Night?

Apparently there was some sort of presidential candidate debate evening last. I watched RGIII win the big trophy instead. A movie was next on the agenda. Both more interesting than watching a bunch of jackasses. One of them may get the opportunity to drag our country even further down the drain.

It is funny how both major political organizations in this land seem to put up nothing but loons (Paul), dunces (Obama, Perry),  corrupt criminals (Newt), and  horndogs, both proven and alleged(Cain, W.J Clinton) as choices. Hard to understand frankly.

When the time comes, I will likely "write in" my choice. I don't want to hear "a write in vote or a 3rd party candidate vote only helps Obama." Perhaps so, but do you really think any of the current crop of Republicans will be any better? Don't delude yourself.  We are all in a sinking ship and whether it is a Dem or Republican in office won't much matter. You can take that to the bank.

There is no one in the current crop who has the intestinal fortitude to do what is right by our country. No Lincoln, Reagan, or even JFK among the lot of them. Where is Alexander Haig when you need him?

I didn't watch Heisman. Voters were so obviously pissed at SEC for having two teams in National Championship game that outcome was rather obvious, which doesn't make it a bad outcome, but...

I will probably write in the name of my favorite former president, maybe even a dead one. I'll have to give that some thought.

Anyone who says to me, "a write in vote or a 3rd party candidate vote only helps Obama," I tell them, "don't tell me how to cast my vote. It's my vote, not yours."

RGIII I think was deserving. I have already read a lot of "yes,but..." from various SEC and Big Ten types. As in "yes but if Baylor had to play LSU, Arkansas or Bama, Wisconsin, etc. then RGIII would not have been in the running." Perhaps. Perhaps not. I would submit that "right now" Baylor would give anyone a good game. Might not win. The defense (and at times even the offense) can be suspect, but a good team none the less.

I might just skip the whole presidential election thing but probably will just do a write in.

I would much rather see an OSU/LSU match up. I think it would be a better game.

OSU/LSU a better game? I can't say you're wrong, but I happen to like defense. Maybe because I played linebacker for eight years? With LSU/Alabama we have the two best college defenses, as witness 9-6 in overtime. I just LOVE that shit.

Oh, yes, Griffin was deserving. No argument.
