Independence Day 2012

It is customary in this country to wish my fellow citizens a happy and safe July 4. I do so now. I wonder what the founding fathers, excuse me, "founders" would think of what we have become and where we are headed.

Don't you?

The writers of the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill Of Rights would be quite pleased. USA validates their beliefs, ideals, and hopes for a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. USA 2012 does it right, honest, and inclusively.

The signers of the documents might have their reservations. The Republic remains strong, capable, and vibrant. The people have changed but the ideals remain desirable and desired by the common people. (Not bad after 200+ years.)

The people of USA are living the dream thanks to the efforts of a great belief in themselves and their unique positive government which comes from their Constitution and Bill Of Rights!

Then wash it out.

You are a retired veteran, right? What in the world can you be whining about? You watch Murdoch Media/Fox Networks (Gloom and doom) by any chance??

Oh, good God. I wouldn't watch Faux if it was the only network on the air, any more than I would watch the idiots on M$NBC. I abhor propaganda and demagougery regardless of which side it comes from, and kissing the feet of graven images is almost as nauseating.

How did you manage to "prove you're not a robot?"
