Not quite retirment age yet but it seems to be approaching fast. Did not have a problem on the phone when a relative passed away. Much easier than dealing with lost packages at the post office. Mainly I just get irritated when people talk about doing away with SS after we have paid into the system for years. The people at the local Social Security office are very pleasant and know what the hell they are talking about, and they will help you "get the most out of your benefits" for free.
