I used to listen to Barry a good bit when I worked a different schedule. Not so much anymore. I began to tire of his act toward the end anyway. He is a bit of a one trick pony it seems to me. Same thing every day (more or less). I also began to think he might not be the brightest crayon in the box anyway when he took his family on "vacation" to the garden spot that is Ethiopia. What kind of stupid ass does that?
At any rate, the whole "wreck at the gay bar" thing is rather interesting and I must admit, somewhat amusing. Barry says he will be vindicated of course and the truth will come out. They all say that.
Incidentally, the area in question is in the Montrose area of Houston and there are a plethora of establishments that cater to the gay community. It was often quite profitable to "cruise" the area while driving a taxi. What one does is begin at one end and basically drive around (and around) in a sort of circular pattern. Of course we cabbies called it "cruising (or working) the "fruit loop." Not my words. It was known as that long before I began to drive. I am sure it is called that still. I think some sensitivity training should be mandated.

1- spelling is incorrect.. DUH!!! 2- he went to Ethiopia to adopt a child.. 3- He gave ALL the answers to this ridiculous crap on the show today.. I'd suggest listening to the podcast, the WHOLE THING, so that you will have KNOWLEDGE and not just half-ass info...
Well surprise-surprise. It's a two bit piece full of assumptions and false conclusions, but lacks any real facts. There's also a tone of anger coming from the writer's subconscious that is probably reflective of some deep childhood issues or maybe rejection at some point. Regardless, i thought that we are all innocent until proven guilty? What stupid ass would think otherwise and actually put it in writing?
Anon nmber 2...What are you? A shrink? Anyway I never said the man was guilty of anything. He will likely, as he says, be vindcated. At any rate, is it really something that is worth caring much about?
If the episode concerned the car salesman down the street then this would be a non story. Since it does however involve a local celeb, it become somewhat of a news stoy. No more. No less.
Oh and anon number one is right. I did spell Berry as Barry. Thanks for pointing that out doctor. Don't know if I could face the day without making a correction.
